Scope of work

SCOPE OF WORK

ODOT required the installation of H-Piles and Steel Lagging Plates along the very bust coastal highway US 101, while keeping one lane of traffic open at all times during construction.

RAM JACK SOLUTION

Utilizing a CAT 324 excavator and a Movax SP60 Sonic Side Grip Pile Driver, Ram Jack crews were able to install 63 H-Piles ranging from 10-Inch to 14-Inch sizes and 1” thick steel plates 8′ x 12′ while causing minimal impact or disruption to traffic.

ENGINEER SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Pile Design for minimum of 10′ up to 32′ embedment. Piles were to be driven to pre-determined depths on a retaining wall over 700 ft. long.
